Bill of Rights “Pocketbook” Project

You will create a digital "pocketbook" or set of flashcards using Canva to inform others about their rights as outlined in the Bill of Rights. Your project should include simple language, visuals, and an engaging design that makes these rights easy to understand.

Project Requirements

  1. Format: Use Canva to create either:

    • A pocketbook (a small, booklet-style infographic) —> Watch Mr. Larsen’s Demo for Assistance

    • A set of digital flashcards (one for each amendment)

  2. Content: Your project must include:

    • A title page with a creative title and your name

    • A page or card for each of the first ten amendments

    • Simplified language to explain each amendment

    • One relevant image, icon, or symbol per amendment

  3. Design Guidelines:

    • Use Canva’s templates and tools to create an engaging, easy-to-read layout

    • Choose clear, high-quality images (Canva has free icons/photos)

    • Stick to concise explanations (avoid long paragraphs)

  4. Final Submission:

    • Download your pocketbook as a PDF OR

    • Download your flashcards as PNG/JPEG files
